We strongly recommend professional installation of the Hardwire Kit. If you attempt the installation yourself, Ecomoment shall not assume responsibility or liability for any product and vehicle damage, or personal injuries caused by improper operation during the process. Ensure the ignition is off before installing the Hardwire Kit, and carefully utilize the tool to test and check the polarity and grounding before confirming the installation. For safety reasons, we strongly advise against using any fuse slot used by your vehicle's critical components, such as the Air Bags.

To set the cut-off voltage protection, long press any button on the hardwire kit for 3 seconds, and the LED display will light up. Then, press the +/- buttons to set the desired cut-off voltage, which we recommend setting to 11.8V. After setting the cut-off voltage, wait until the LED display flashes three times to complete the process. The hardwire kit will stop power output after 1 minute if the voltage drops below the set cut-off value.

Unlike other brands with fixed low voltage protection, the Veement Hardwire kit allows you to adjust the low voltage protection value in 0.1 units, with the LED display making it easy to read the value. The Hardwire Kit will automatically shut off the power when the voltage is lower than the set cut-off voltage.

The Hardwire Kit is equipped with a 3-in-1 cable that can automatically detect the engine status and enable the dash cam to record without manual setting. The Yellow Wire (BAT) is connected to the constant fuse slot in the fuse box, providing power even when the engine is turned off. The Red Wire is connected to the positive terminal of the ACC Fuse Slot in the Fuse Box, which only has power when the ignition is on.

To enable 24-hour parking surveillance, ensure the hardwire kit is connected correctly. Go to the dash cam's menu, choose Setting > Parking Guard > ON. Then, when the car turns off, the dash cam will enter parking monitor mode. Next, go to Setting > Time-lapse > ON. This option will compress every 30 minutes of video into 1 minute and save it on the memory card.

The low voltage value can be freely set and adjusted to match all vehicle types. When the voltage drops to 11.6V or 23.2V, the Hardwire Kit will automatically cut off the power after 1 minute, preventing the battery from running out.

The hardwire kit for dash camera equipment has a multi-protection system, such as cut-off voltage protection, short circuit prevention, overheat prevention, and cable reversal prevention.

This dashcam hardwire kit is compatible with various devices, including Dash Cam, Radar, and GPS, and it's only compatible with Ecomoment GT801/GT802/S70 models.
